KENNA AT THE PARK

So here are pics of Kenna at the park. I wish I could say she was dressed up but as those of you that know her (or me I guess) know this is just the way it is for our lil sweetie. So I had to get some photos since I have been slackin at that. How fun is her "fish" purse, sunglasses, shirt and pants!! Who doesn't love Gymbo!!! Yeah she's a "KEEPER"!! So a lot of photos lately but hey I was on a roll and who knows when I will get back to this again.

Playing at the Park

The kids have been on Spring Break this week and last week. Tanner and Cooper were off from the 17th-21st(Mesa Schools) and Carter is off from the 17th-28th(Florence Schools). Tanner was busy most of the time with the Pioneer Trek and the rest of us just bummed around and went to the park that is here in our subdivision. We went with some of our friends a few different times. I took some pictures of the kids and Carter kept trying to be in every one of them and he always has to pose so it is nothing natural unless he is unaware he is being photographed. He is a total HAM!! Walker just does not photo that well I guess. He is so very cute in person but if he sees the camera he tries to smile and it is ALWAYS CHEESY!!! Kenna's attitude can come through and show on camera sometimes but yeah that is ALL HER!! They of course love to go to the park and it is good bribery and motivation to get things done or to get them to behave. Sometimes a mom has to do whatever she has to do get the chores done and bribery isn't to bad!!

Tanner's Spring Break Adventure

Well it was Spring Break here for us and we didn't do much. Tanner did though!! Tanner was gone on the Pioneer Trek from Wednesday morning till Saturday afternoon. They left at 7:00 in the morning and drove to where they started the trek. They had breakfast. They were shown where their pile of stuff was to build their cart. Oh and also they were told there are your chickens for dinner tomorrow make sure you feed them and keep them alive till then!! They started hiking about 11:00 am and got done at about 12:30 am after hiking 20 miles. They didn't have lunch and when they arrived for the night they had 1 cup of broth and some rolls. They got up in the morning and had mush for breakfast then hiked 1 more mile and set up camp. They killed the chickens and skinned them. Then put them in the dutch ovens to cook up for a dinner of chicken stew. He said that was delicious!! They played pioneer games until evening time. The next morning they had be like the Sabbath Day so the kids got to have their hair washed and change clothes finally!! They had a relaxing day and after church services they had time to themselves to go on their own read scriptures and read a letter from home that was a surprise to them. Then the next morning they hiked a few more miles to the trucks and came home. He says he now has a new appreciation for the pioneers and he is even more grateful for his deodorant, toothpaste and shower!! He also appreciates the food we have too!
