Lanterns & Tents & Boys.........OH MY!!!
1 mother + 1 daughter = 2 best friends having fun........
Well the boys went on the Father's and Son's camp out so us girls had to have fun!! I took our picture before we left but my lil short arms aren't made to get good pictures...
When I told Kenna we could have whatever she wanted for lunch she got all excited and said orange chicken....so off to Panda Express.
Then we headed to San Tan Mall and wandered through many stores until we ended up at Build-A-Bear. Where she made a dog that she named Chocolate Chip Cookie but just calls her Cookie.
Then we had to play at the play area....... UP
DOWN
And all around......
We went to her favorite store two times and spent forever in there looking at, talking too, and petting the puppies but that was just fine because that was what she wanted to do.
We went to the video store and rented chick flicks! Went to the grocery store and picked up some snacks. Then for dinner she wanted nachos so we went to Costa Vida and got take out. She fell asleep in the car cause it was such a long day for her.
When we finally got home she woke up and we ate and snuggled up for our night of movies.....she fell asleep within an hour. It was so fun to have an official Mother and Daughter night for the first time ever...but secretly I did miss my Walker boy.

Bit By The Love Bug..................
Well after dating for 3-4 years and being engaged for I think about 1 1/2 years my baby sister Jessica and Brandon finally decided to get married!!!
So my Mom and I had the shower for her. We did it at my Mom's friends house in Mesa. We did a brunch with breakfast casseroles, muffins, fruit salad, juice and milk. It was a small affair but it was nice.
This is my niece Emily my sister Amy's oldest daughter.
Here is Amy's other two girls Bailey and Megan with Kenna- roo.
Ladies chit chatting and enjoying the food.
My cousin Andy, SIL Chris and SIL Ayla.
One of Jessie's childhood friends Tiffany.
Kenna my favorite girl!!
Kennedy had a fun time running and playing the whole time pretty much.
Of course she will stop for pictures.
It was a nice day and Jess got some nice stuff for her new life starting out with Brandon.

Let's go fly a kite............
The kids got kites for Easter so for F.H.E. one night we went to fly them. When I had ran my errands that day it was perfect kite flying weather so when Rob got home from work I suggested the kite flying. As I made dinner that evening looking out the window by the sink it looked like it would still be windy enough but by the time we got to the grassy area it wasn't really that windy. Did that stop us......NO!!
So away we all went in our different directions trying really hard!! Finally we had to stop cause it was dark and this last crash resulted in this........
So it then turned into wrestling and dog piling in the grass.

So I came to a conclusion that night I realized I have NEVER flown a kite in all my entire life! So as I was running...I am sure cars were stopping to point & laugh..and trying my hardest to help different kids get their kites in the air the kite just kept dragging along behind me. Finally Rob speaks up and is "What are you doing" I told him "I was trying to fly a kite...duh!!" He finally informed me how to properly do it and had gotten a few of the kites up at different times for a lil bit. By the end of the evening I was laughing so hard I was crying as Rob was retelling how he was watching my kite flying skills and just shaking his head in ....amusement/amazment I am sure!! Also each of the kids learned real quick to go to Dad for help on this adventure......I think we will have to try that again in the fall.

Oh, What A Night!
This is how Tanner asked Bryttany to Mormon Prom. He got a cute lamb stuffed animal and tied confetti filled balloons to the neck. She had to pop the balloons and 3 of them had confetti and papers that when put together said "Will "ewe" go to Mormon Prom with Tanner?"
The kids enjoying the goodies. The Appetizers I made were egg rolls, taquitos, mozzarella sticks and chips N salsa. Also make your own Italian Creme Sodas bar.

ooooooooo! aaaaaaahhhh!.........The dinner table.
I made place cards for each person. I wanted cute heart shaped holders for them and Tanner wanted the bells to hold them because they are fun to ring and annoy people with........yes it was annoying in the store with him!! ;) We also put poprocks for everyone cuz poprocks........ROCK!!
Dinner time!! We served grilled chicken or chicken cordon bleu with baked potatoes, corn, fresh tossed salad and rolls. Tanner was the only one who chose grilled chicken everyone else had the chicken cordon bleu. The grilled chicken was way better tho!!
Enjoying dinner poolside.
I think this is where Tanner was like "Waitress your the bomb!!" AKA "Mom we are trying to eat here!!" LOLOLOLOL
Dessert time.....We had Chocolate cake with Chocolate covered strawberries and whip cream. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and topped with chocolate hearts.
Getting pictures on the waterfall. Luckily nobody fell in!
The kids laughed and enjoyed themselves all evening. It was fun to see the kids have a great time.

Tanner, Candace and I strung up the lights the day before and then a few days later Tanner went and took down the lights. The dinner was made mostly by me but my dad came with his great grill skills and grilled the chicken for me. Thanks Daddy!! Then my Mom and my friend Carrie were my helpers for the night with set-up, decorating, cooking, serving, washing dishes and the list goes on.... Thanks Mom and Carrie!!! Warning! Children At Play!
We decided to skip a lesson this night for FHE.........
Tanner was like "Really do I have to go" and we were like "umm yes...Family Home Evening means your whole family" So he asked if his friend Michael could come too. I told him as long as you guys play with the kids and you WILL ENJOY IT.hahahaha
I think they actually did enjoy themselves tho because a few weeks later when we went again Michael's family joined us. That was fun too.
We all had a nice time that evening enjoying the nice Arizona weather.
